Amy creates bold and beautiful homewares inspired by history. Think Pop Art meets the English country house. Every piece the artist creates tells a story. Her favourite things include early English stump work, flame stitch covered walls, wrought iron and Valentino couture.
Amy's love for interiors began as a child when she learned the history, styles and decor of buildings as told by her grandmother. 'She also showed me how to embroider and stitch at home which showcased what remained of Sanderson and GP & J Baker prints and Gordon Russell furniture once stocked at my grandparent's interiors shop'.
Whilst at Fashion College Amy trained in the studios of Jenny Packham and Bruce Oldfield where her love of colour and embellishment was ignited and her stitching skills were taken to a new level.
In 2009 she established her interiors studio creating bespoke handmade homewares crafted using haute couture techniques and using the finest materials. With her unique sartorial edge Amy was enlisted by Antiques dealer and designer Christopher Howe in introducing handmade and embroidered homewares to his iconic Pimlico Rd shop.
Amy's homewares including pillows, dog beds, wall hangings and lighting have been featured in World of Interiors, Living Etc and on the cover of House & Garden UK.
Design collaborations have been with a variety of companies and historic institutions including Jenny Packham, Howe London, Eicker Design, Robert Kime, National Trust, Church of England, The Fleming Family & Stanford Hall, Leicestershire.
